Hi,

I am having a fair few crashes on my new install of Win2K, what I've heard installing SP2 could help me out.

The BIG problem is I only connect to the internet via a 56K modem so downloading a 100Mb+ file would take days and would cost a small fortune. Would it be worth ringing MS to see if they will send a copy (and how much would they charge)

OR....

Anyone live in the UK who could perhaps mail me a copy? I would be perfectly willing to pay a few quid to cover postage, time, cd etc.

Please PM me if you can help.

Many thanks.

You'll only have to download APPX 10 MB for a typical install actually, the 105mb file is a generic network install, just do the internet install 10MB isn't bad for 56k.

Yes, the 10mb-ish version works fine. Only thing is you can't save it, so if you reinstall W2K, you have to download it again.
