Windows 2000 slow bootup *SOLVED*

I had a parallel pass-through film scanner hooked up to my 2000 platform and once disconnected, bootups sped up significantly. I didn't even realize that it was attached. Windows 2000 was probably probing it with different commands to identify it, and the delay was the result of timeouts.
