Windows 2000 Server - Dial Up at StartUp

Hi,

I have an installation of Windows 2000 Adanced Server, with an ADSL connection. The Dial Up has username and password saved, so it's just click-and-go.

I already set up internet explorer to automatically connect with that dial up, so at re-start of the OS, I just have to click on IE shortcut, and when he starts opening the default start page, he automatically connects to the internet. But that doesn't work for another programs, such as Norton IS 2003 auto-update ... the solution would be to automatically connect to the internet at start up of the OS ... does anyone know how to do it?

Thanks

In the connection properties enable dial on demand if it isn't already. You could also stick IE in yoru starup folder which would launch it along with the connection at startup, however that seems to be a bit of a roundabout way of doing things.
