Windows 2000 & screen saver problem

Whenever I set up the screen saver in Win2k and I reboot, the Screen saver is resetting itself to "None"

If I try to Power off my monitor after a certain # of minutes, the monitor doesn't turn off.

What's going on? I didn't have these problems before. Is it time to reinstall Win2K?

I dont think you need to reinstall win2k just the SP, since that solved my problem, and was a lot faster than physicly instlaling win2k

I had the same problem as well, but I fixed it by NOT loging on as Administrator. Once I logged on as a power user, everything fixed itself. Funny little problems this win2k has, huh?
