Windows 2000 Professional Installation

Guys:

I am going to be installing Windows 2000 Professional on my system. I decided that this time I would ask rather than try.

Would it be wise to copy the Setup Files to the hard drive after I format it? Also - would it be a good thing to put the CAB's on there also? How do I do it?

Also - what should I install when I am installing it? If I were to do a custom or an advance install - what stuff DON'T I need? I mean, I just need my cable modem to work, so that's all of the networking stuff I'll need. Any settings I can set?

Also, I remember someone saying that if you want to game on W2K, create an account for gaming, with little or no permissions, so you can keep cpu processes, ram free, etc, etc...

How can I do that with my account? I don't want stuff I'll never use to run.

Well that's all for now.

Windows 2K gives you the option to copy all setup files to HD. I'd do it, makes setup quicker..
Windows2K doesn't offer a customize option like Win9X. There are tweaks after the installation to delete stuff you don't need..
And as for the gaming account, I've never tried it..
