Specifically, is it possible to create a RAM disk in Windows 2000 Professional, and if so, how do I set things like the drive letter, the size of the RAM disk, and so forth.
I have 352 MB of RAM [(2) 128 MB chips, (1) 64, and (1) 32, for those curious] and I'd like to take about 32 to 64 MB of that memory and create a RAM disk to put a file or two in when working in certain programs. Its my understanding that a RAM disk functions the same as a hard disk drive in Windows 2000 would (for the most part). If I'm not quite accurate, please feel free to exactly explain to me what a RAM disk is, and why and how someone would create one.
Thanks in advance.
