A friend of mine says he has a Dual CPU Edition of Win2k Pro. Yes, I know Win2k Pro supports Dual CPUs but this guy claims that it is optimized for dual systems. I never heard of it, I don't buy it. Here is the word from the NFO file:
<< Windows 2000 Professional was designed to meet the needs of computers of tomorrow. This verion was released ONLY to dealers | and big coporations for replacing their current OS's on their own personal machines. What makes this verion stand out is that it now supports MULTIPLE CPU's on one machine and was designed to run at optimal speed. It also includes SP1 built right into it as well. I must say it kicks serious ass on the versions that came out before it and blows whistler clean off the map >>
Whatever.
