Windows 2000 pro and NTFS

Heya guys!

I am formatting my harddrive completely and will install windows 2000 pro on it. Before there was windows 98 on it in FAT 32.
Now i know that windows 2K uses NTFS format for its file system, will it harm me if i will try to install appz that worked on windows 98?
In other words, what should i install in on NTFS? or FAT?😕

First of all, READ THE FAQ!!!!!

Secondly, no you'll be fine, apps don't write directly to the FS, they go through the OS, which in turn writes to the FS, so you'll be fine.

Hey watch it, if I hadn't just drank a $hitload of beer I might not have so friendly 🙂
