Hey all!
I hope somnoene can help me with this, as I've tried everything I can think of and I can't fiond any information on the net about it. I'm trying to setup windows 2000 port forwarding. I'm using internet connection sharing to share my cable modem with my old server computer. The computer the cable is hooked up to is Win2k and the one its being shared with is Win2k advanced server. I have two netowrk cards in the computer with the cable modem hooked up and ICS is working fine, but I want to be able to forward several ports from this computer to the other computer so that people on the internet can connect to the FTP and Webserver I'm running on the Advanced Server computer. I've set it up in the settings tab of internet conection sharing as follows:
Services Tab
Name Of Service: FTP
Serivce Port Number: 21
TCP
Address of computer on internal netowork: 192.168.0.97

but it still doesn't work, the port isn't forwarded. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it'd be great. Thanks a million!

Hi

As far as I know you can't do port forwarding with ICS. You need to use RRAS in advanced server to be able to do port forwarding.
