Windows 2000 policy question...

I am working on setting up a few policies within windows 2000 and I was wondering if there was anyway that I could get it to log to a text file or a SQL database instead of the Security Log. I would like to be able eventually to write a program that will read the database or text file so I can do reports on individual users
