Windows 2000 password

I upgraded win 98 to win2k and at the screen where it prompted me to type in a username and password I just hit enter thinking it would be like win98 and I wouldn't have to remember another stinkin password and I could bypass all this. WRONG! Now when the system boots "Administrator" is in username and it doesn't matter what I put into password ( or leave blank ) I can't log on. Now what? Please Help!

You had to set the administrator password during setup, so just enter that password 🙂

Other than that, I don't think there is a whole lot you can do 🙁

Maybe someone else has a better idea...

just re-install the OS again and at the point you enter a password, enter one and write it down. Then in control panel you can set the p.c. to auto login...make a new user...with a blank password (administrator shouldn't be blank) and choose auto login.
