Windows 2000 on MSI 6330 Lite Edition?

I was trying to install Windows 2000 on my father-in-law's new Athlon system but the setup disks crashed on disk 4. The motherboard is an MSI 6330 Lite Edition (don't know what PCB rev or BIOS rev) with 384meg PC133 RAM and a 1.33ghz chip. Any ideas what to do with it? Windows98 worked ok, but he really wants Win2k.

You should first flash you bios to the latest version. Then instaed of using SSSSLLLLOOOOWWWW , corruptable setup disks change the system to boot from CD-ROM and go that route. Your whole install will be much more pleasent

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll see if I can get a copy of the CD that has the boot sector intact (FYI - I'm allowed to run it at home thanks to the license at work).
