Windows 2000 oddities?

I just did a fresh resinstall of windows 2000, put the service packs in and the updates..

but now when I restart the machine or log out then log back in it dosernt keep my opened explorer windows open, like it used to before..

anyone have any idea how I turned this option off? and how do I trun it back on?
I got used to it now I find it kinda annoying not having it..
