im using windows 2000 ...I was trying to set up a wireless adapter..and now i messed things up...I set up a network identification ...is there any way to remove this? ...windows screen now asks me to log in....when I do log in (username administrator no password)..it brings up a new desktop...now I Cant get the computer back to the way it was. does this make any sense? Thank you in advance for the help.

you can run it again, or get tweak ui 1.33 from somewhere that provides ability to automate which user will be logged in.

for wifi support on 2000 (joining access points and suchO, you will need some app that you'd get from manufacturer... there's no built in app for that.
