Windows 2000 Loads blank uncloseable window in taskbar?

When Windows 2000 loads all of my other programs at start up it loads one that it quickly closes but for whatever reason there remains a blank window block in the taskbar. It is annoying and can't be closed. Is there a way to make it go away other than not load that program at startup? I am not certain which program is leaving that window open.

If I log on and log off after a restart or cold boot it goes away and from what I can see by doing that it appears to be the vgaprobe.exe that came with my ASUS GF3 Ti200 card. Guess I could disable that since it seems useless because I am not overclocking the video card... although I would like to but wonder how much overclocking is really worth it on that since I've heard of people's video cards going bad... guess I've just heard the horror stories and not the success stories.
