Windows 2000 Installation Problems

I keep getting file copy errors during my Win2K installation. It will ask if I want to retry, skip the file, or abort installation. More often than not, retry will work but will hit a snag on some other file later on. I have tried different cdroms, different installation CD's.

Has anyone ever experienced any similar problems? How do I fix it?

I had the same problem during my installs. I locallized to the cdrom. Keep hitting retry, it'll appear 4-5 times, then will boot fine again. Do not skip the file or else your system will screw up. Some cdroms (Memorex in my case) has difficulties with balancing the cd, making it prone to errors on certain segments of the disc.
