WINDOWS 2000 Install won't FORMAT HDD...Please Help

I need to format my HDD while installing WINDOWS 2000 OS Slipstreamed w/ SP4. I have tried several times but, it will ask me if I would like to repair or fresh install. But, in either case, it is not formatting the HDD. I want a spankin' new OS..

Can someone tell me how am I goofing it up? First time when I installed Win2K it did format the HDD and the existing OS was Win XP....but, after that I wanted to reinstall WINDOWS 2K from scratch but, when I asked it to install a fresh copy it went ahead and created a new copy only without formatting HDD.

Please help....to format my HDD.

Why not just remove the partition? Then it'll have no choice but to setup a partition and format it.
