Windows 2000 install from usb drive

Hi,

I need to install windows 2000 from a usb pen drive.

When I try and copy the files I get an error stateing that an error exists in one of the files !!!

Any ideas, I assume this is some form of copy protection,

Cheers.

Microsoft doesn't put disc copy protection on their CD's. They do this so people can Slipstream their cd's when new SP's come out, and so IT pro's can create Remote Installation Images with RIS.

Have you tried copying the files to your HDD before putting them on the pen drive?

It wont copy from the disc. It appears one of the files is a different size than it should be. It isnt needed for installation as its an optional package. It does however stop copying the files when it reaches this file. Anyone know how to stop this. It is 9 levels down so a pain to not copy manually. Cheers.

Thats great, but how to I make it go into folders ?

/S Copies directories and subdirectories except empty ones.
/E Copies directories and subdirectories, including empty ones.

pick whichever parameter you need.
