Windows 2000 Icon Problem

After installing my new Gforce 2 ultra, all of the icons in windows 2000 decided to go into low color depth mode, nothing was changed i.e the setting in effects to show icons in all colors.

Ideas? Please 🙂

Didn't know you knew we existed over here, Zuni 😉

If you have TweakUI installed, have you tried Repair>Rebuild Icons? I believe what that does this. Or you can use regedit to do this

Would this have to do with color depth though? i have used that method before to restore wierd icon issues but color depth is odd.. im running 32bit as well.

It's a possibility...I would also give a shot at setting display properties to NOT show icons using all possible colors, then setting it back. Windows can be weird that way 😉
