windows 2000 help please

Hi,

Everything was working fine in windows 2000 until last night when i tried to do some MacGyver like work on my computer. Cdrwin wasn't recognizing my scsi cd recorder although it worked fine in windows xp rc1 so i decided to copy these files "cdrom.sys", "redbook.sys" and "storprop.dll" to my drivers directory and override the orginals. I did save them however beforehand in a diff folder. So anyways i did that in safemode and rebooted and come across this blue screen saying"stop" and it says theres in error in cdrom.sys something about a pointer. So i try to go back into safemode to remove all the drivers since my crappy idea isnt working and i can't get into it as i come across the same blue screen again. I have tried all different safemodes as well as "last good configuration" and they don't work i still run into the blue stop screen. Is there anyway I can copy my older files over the new ones in a command prompt. I can't seem to find it. Please someone help me. FYI the drive is using NTFS. THanks in advance

I tried something like that with Video Drivers.
Lesson: I don't think the drivers from XP work in 2k :Q
If you've got access to the internet, download a version of NTFS DOS.
Also, try removing the CD-ROM and booting up.
Disable it in the BIOS too.
