All you need to do is boot off of the CD or the 4 floppy disks andgo through the Repair mode. From there, you should be able to repair the Master Boot Record and the Boot Loader program that is required by Windows 2000. The only other option would be to get BootMagic from PowerQuest Software. However, the repait from the installation media of Windows 2000 should fix your problem. If you made an ERD (Emergancy Recover Disk), your repair will go much more smoothly. If you have not made an ERD, you will have to create it from the NTBACKUP program. Also, each ERD is custom to each machine that it is created from. So you cannot just create an ERD from on machine and then use it on another machine, unless you have an identical machine in every way.
