It's weird, it doesn't do it all the time but every once a week or so my computer will just freeze. I have both windows 98 and 2000 server on the same partition but i mainly use win2k. It's a PIII 650 w/ 512 MB and a Shuttle AV61 MB. When i check the Event Viewer, it says that an unexpected system shutdown occurred or something like that. Can someone please let me know what the problem might be?

i have two NICs installed, one is a dlink and the other is a linksys. I'm using Microsoft's optical explorer mouse, the new one. and it seems to be working fine. i'll see if there are updated drivers. The HD is a 30 gig WD and im not sure what kind of a power supply it is, but is it possible that it's going bad? The computer is still on, it just freezes that's all.
