Windows 2000 Explorer Bar

Ok, kinda a weird thing but on one of my Windows 2000 servers the "Folders" section of any explorer window is gone. Just a big grey box. Eh? Let me explain, from any Windows Explorer window there are typically 2 views or "panes". The left side, which displays folders and directory structure, is called the "Folders" view. The right side, which displays the folders contents, is called the.... well I don?t' know what it's called. The left side is just a big grey block. I can go to "View" then "Explorer Bar" then "Folders" and check and uncheck that but it's still a big grey block. I know of 2 servers that have this "issue" and one is at SP3 the other is at SP4. Any ideas?

I've seen the same issue with a Win2k Server and a Win2k Pro machine. Do you happen to have an Undelete product on your machine? The two machine that I saw that had this issue both had an undelete product and when removed is did exactly what you are explaining. Never found an answer to this.
