windows 2000 error 6 invalid handle

While trying to dial up to the internet I get random dial up error messages. Sometimes it's error 50, sometimes it's error 6 invalid handle. I've tried differn't dial up numbers, the account is valid. Is there a way to reinstall dial up networking in windows 2000? Or does anyone have any clue whats going on with this?

so I am guessing your are using a dialup connection huh? error code 6 and 50 are a writing code error. 'The operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred' huh? Frankly speaking you should check your registry and upgrade all the OS recommended hotfix if they are applicable.
