Ok, I just installed Diablo 1 on my windows 2000 machine. Using
a TNT 1 with the latest 5.22 drivers. I install Diablo....and
exit the game immediately after it loads (so i can install the
1.08 patch). I notice that ALL of my windows icons are now
displayed in 16 colors (if they are displayed at all). I install
the patch, and then try Diablo again. The main menu doesn't even
show up, just a black screen (but i can still select stuff just
can't see what i'm doing). So i select singler player, and i
notice that the cursor/mouse movement is VERY stuttery (I have a
USB mouse). So...Diablo (and the 1.08 patch) won't work right
win win2k...and i uninstalled Diablo, but my icons are still
messed up and I've tried everything (video drivers, that use all
possible colors checkbox, etc.) to change them back the way they
were. Anyone know how to A) Get my icons back the way they were
and B) Get Diablo to work right? Thanks
