Windows 2000 crash

I have a memorex cd burner, last night while trying to make a direct copy of a cd going from cd- hd- cd method, my computer and cd roms locked up. I ended task on the cd software but the cdroms were still locked. I then installed nero 4.0 and tried that. same problem this time when i rebooted, i got a memory dump saying that nero was trying to acess the ram in startup. I cannot get into safe mode either same bsod. Any ideas aside from deltree winnt - sys c: and install again?

I found the reason why guys. easy cd creator 3.5 and nero dont agree on windows 2000. Make sure you have easy cd creator 4.0 and it will run on win2k with minimal problems.
