Windows 2000 ASPI Layer

I remember that Windows 2000 doesn't have ASPI drivers/dll's installed so I was wondering if I would save the ASPI DLL's from my Windows ME setup and copy it over to Windows 2000. Adaptec EZCD 4.02e doesn't install ASPI's for me. I heard the last EZCD to install ASPI's was 3.5c? Anyhow, any help is appreciated.
