I am running Win2K Pro on an Iwill KK266. My devices are showing up as SCSI devices under the device manager. I don't have a SCSI card installed. Is that typical? I have tried creating CD images but my CDRWIN is asking for ASPI drivers. I know they don't come with Win2K but do I need them? I tried searching the Adaptec website but has no luck. Can someone offer some advice. Thanks

Hmm, link no go - 404

I have wondered about this too. My devices show up normally however.

I'm using Nero, which came with my burner. It puts ASPI on, but I don't know much about it, if it's a permanent or temporary thing, and what / if anything it "does" to Windows functionality. Nero does burn CD's in 2000 though, works great.

Switching to it would work, but not really the root of the problem though...
