I have posted this question before but my problem still exist I have a 2000 server domain controller on the server I have created a computer account and I have given myself domain admin rights whenever I go to a win2k workstation and attempt to add the computer to a domain it tells me that it can not find a domain contoller but I can ping the domain controller by computer name and ip address I thought I was the only person that was having this problem but I know a couple of other people that have had this proble I'm using 3C905-TX nics and a linksys befsr41 router if anyone has any links about this issuse also please add them

Do you have a DNS server running that supports SRV records???? Active Directory requires that a DNS server be on the network that supports SRV records. Bind 8.1 (i think) and Windows 2000 DNS supports them. Just because you can ping a box, either by name or IP doesn't mean that Active Directory can find it.

here's some more help.
