Windows 2000 add/remove problem

I recently tried to uninstall a prog using add/remove in control panel. It ran most of the uninstall and then kept giving me error messages. It had removed most of the prog - the rest I deleted with brute force. The only problem now is the prog is still listed in control panel. Anyone know how to remove it from there?

open registry and look under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
