Windows 11 thought of the day: The Start Menu

Something I noticed a while ago in Win11 is that Microsoft in its infinite wisdom decided not to group user-related functions together and keep system-related functions in a separate group (ie. user sign-off, lock session, vs. sleep/shut down/restart, they decided to put the lock option along with the other system functions and sign off separate from the rest).

Something I noticed today was that some bright spark at Microsoft thought this way of doing things was a really great idea, so they *recently* altered the Windows 10 Start menu to group these functions in the same way.

Here's how the options were laid out on Win10 (dated Jan 2024):

Try stardock startmenu. You can have a trial version to test it out. And 5 licenses cost less than 17 dollars. A single license is around 12 dollar.
