I've heard that Windows 11 will work with TPM 1.2, which has been around on many laptops since 2012.

Right now I am running it on an HP 800 G2 Mini with TPM 1.2 and it works just fine. But this is the latest insider build and they are not enforcing the TPM 2.0 requirement on... Yet...

I'm not too keen on getting Windows 11 at any time in the next few years, Windows 10 is perfectly fine. Which works well for me because my i5-6400 is apparently "too old" to run 11.
Heh. I ran the PC Health Check app and the only thing that failed was my i7-6700k isn't supported. Thanks, Microsoft.

We're still in the early stages of upgrading from Windows 7 at work lol. Not that 11 would run on any of our work PCs anyway, as you need super modern hardware for it due to the requirements they put.

I have no idea why but I was logging off my desktop last night to go watch TV and randomly got the impulse to upgrade to 11, and here I am.

So far so good.

Power options actually work right now, my computer actually goes to sleep.
