Question Windows 11 screen timeout suddenly stopped working

Hi, I have a Windows 11 desktop and up until recently I've had my screen timeout set to a few minutes, after which my screen will turn off. However, for some reason, it no longer does this - my screen just stays on. I've checked System > Power > Screen, sleep & hibernate time-outs and the "Turn my screen off after" setting is enabled. I've even tried setting it to 1min but nothing happens after 1 min. How do I enable the screen timeout?

I take it you've tried restarting Windows already?

Check the power plan as well, maybe. Mine (laptop, not desktop) changed on its own recently which affected the sleep and screen timeout settings despite them showing the typical timers I had set as correct.
