Question Windows 11 Pro for Workstations

Hard to dig down to the essence.
Is Windows 11 Pro for Workstations subscription?
Does it have all the crap that Pro does? I can't imagine an engineer working on a proprietary design wanting everything he's doing exposed.
I also can't imagine an engineer wanting to waste any of his compute power running tracking tasks in the background.

Windows is not subscription based.

I believe there's a web-based version of Windows that is, but that's it.

- edit - I hadn't heard of "Windows 11 Pro for Workstations" before, I assumed you were over-describing Windows 11 Pro since that is already meant for workstations, so now apparently we have Windows 11 Pro for Workstations for Workstations... wth.

I've been doing some browsing around and haven't found anything that suggests that 'for Workstations' is subscription based.

Only apps are subscription based afaik. I I block Microsoft by DNS to prevent them from tracking and updating without explicit instructions to do so.
