Maybe we'll finally get 'disable taskbar grouping' in 23H2, it's been mentioned a few times in the news as believed to be coming back with that update.
I just installed the preview of 22H2 available via Windows Update, and yes, I can confirm that you can disable the grouping until the taskbar gets full or never.

They've also added in Dynamic Lighting control, which allegedly can control aRGB for select hardware. Unfortunately, I don't have any aRGB things, so can't really test that.

Best $5 I ever spent:

Basically lets you remix Windows 7, 8, 10, etc. start menus, buttons, layouts, groupings, etc.

For W11 window combining, I kind of got used to it on my desktop, because I rarely have multiple windows of the same type open.

For an old work laptop that got upgraded to W11 in June, it was extremely annoying, because I'd frequently have multiple Outlook, PowerPoint, or Word files open, so going between them was more of a pain compared to W10. Plus, couldn't install software that wasn't company approved to fix that UI issue. Of course, my current work laptop for a job I recently started still runs W10, so don't have to worry about this issue for now.
