It seems the WIDCOMM Bluetooth Windows Software for Broadcom Bluetooth 4.0 devices will cause the PC to crash when a Bluetooth headset is turned off and on.

This does not happen if the Headset is on and the PC is rebooted and it reconnects.

The only solution is to remove and re-pair each time....

The WIDCOMM driver software offer better audio quality for the Headset and such other neat Bluetooth features.

Anyone have a similar issue or know a fix?

Really sounds like a driver issue. I don't have one of these, but you probably want to see if the manufacturer has an update on their site. It may just be a waiting game.

Most likely.

I was at a point where I needed to do a clean Windows Install anyways due to issues and slow down and such.... It is running much better. ;)

I'll contact Broadcom and the Windows 10 Feedback thingy....

Do some more searching. :)

it could be a silly, old school irq collision, if you could go into your BIOS and shut off an un-used port, and see what that does for you
