Windows 10 .vob files

My windows player is not playing .vob files where in Windows 7 it did

Because Win10 does not include the license for DVD playback where as win7 did

You would have to get a 3rd part codec pack/app like VLC or look in the microsoft store for the DVD player (cant remember the exact name)

Yeah what a rip off. Even the old solitaire card games you have to pay for to keep the ads off ($1.50/month). They also did not include those games in 8 also, as they wanted us to use the MS store. With that said, you can get the windows 7 games here for 10:

There are no ads in the solitaire main games. The ads are only in the extra bits (challenges, which didn't exist in the old game).

Get VLC media player. Free, plays vob files, and much better than Windows DVD Player. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html

Yes VLC is awesome!!!! (Almost every codec in its own library)

Only one I had to get external files for is QDM2 (Quicktime audio) -- I couldnt hear any QDM2 files w/o 1 of the quicktime files in my system directory.... (quicktime.qts)
