Windows 10 upgrade from Windows 7

Hi,

I have an existing Windows 10 installation that was upgraded from Windows 7. I will be building a new PC next week, and wish to find out if it's still possible to use my Windows 7 key to install Windows 10 on my new PC? I will not be using the existing PC anymore after that.

I have my CD key using the ProduKey tool.

If possible, where do I download the Windows 10 installer? Is there a USB drive installer option?

Thanks.

If you had a Retail Windows 7 key it will work just fine. If you upgraded with digital entitlement, it will probably balk at activating on new hardware, which may need a call to Microsoft ... Tell them you had a hardware failure and need to reactivate. Most of the time, they will.
