Tiles don't sync anymore... OK, a boneheaded decision but let's put that aside.

I didn't really think about it when it was just a couple of Surfaces running 10, but is Microsoft telling me that having had a bunch of convertibles/tablets thudding onto my doorstep and upgraded some others, I've now got to arrange the start tiles by hand for each PC😕

Is there a way to sync tile layouts? Failing that, how do I copy them from PC to PC?

I lost the will to live after Teamviewering into a tablet (because doing it via touch was just too slow) and hand-arranging all the icons I set up on the SP4, after realising with horror that I can't even select multiple tiles anymore.

Yeah, Microsoft syncing in W10 is a joke. Seriously :thumbsdown:

Ended up using a local account... Tried to sync the tiles locally, it's also a pain. Gave up for now, but I think it's possible somehow. Hopefully, this will be fixed with the next release. I am ready give up my useless wallpaper moving across different devices, though 😛

I like how things are done in the Apple world, though. Different league, entirely.

I guess this is the problem when you take user feedback from the majority who uses pieces of crap from yesteryear. W10 really has been a step back from 8.1 for us modern hybrid/tablet and even touch desktop users. At the same time I can't hang onto 8.1 for ever so I'm upgrading, but it is a major pain.

I like how things are done in the Apple world, though. Different league, entirely.
