[Windows 10] Sound Scheme doesn't work

Hey.

So I recently reinstalled Windows 10 (Pro) on a new drive. Pretty much everything works just fine, except for the Windows Default (sound scheme) sounds, such as the sound it makes when browsing folders or clearing the trash bin. However, I do have sounds for everything else. I have sound for my games, videos (offline from video files, as well as when watching them on YouTube or various streams). It's just the Windows default sounds that don't work, it's just silence for everything (even the desktop login sound is absent).

I looked in my Windows > Media folder and the sounds are actually there. I also opened the Sounds window and checked if the Windows scheme was selected, and it is. I also tested the sounds manually and they do work. They just don't play automatically in Windows.

It's a first time for me, never experienced this exact issue before (not even in Windows 7).

I'd like some help on this please, thanks.

By default 10 does not enable the sounds we were used to hearing in previous versions. If you go to Personalization>Themes>Advanced Sound Settings you can assign a sound to all the events listed there.
