It seems I've found my first bug in Windows 10.
Searching from the start menu, it's not returning results from
<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
However, items in C: \ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs get returned.
For example, Steam places its game shortcuts under Appdata, so searching for a Steam game from the start menu does not find anything (unless you have a desktop shortcut or pinned it or something). However, browsing the start menu/All Apps displays shortcuts from both Appdata and Programdata.
Did Microsoft just forget that Windows stores start menu shortcuts in both locations since a few versions back?
