Windows 10 search is useless because of Bing

Because it has to mix Bing results in every search, the entire thing slogs down. Contrasted with the Mac OS X's search, which is pretty much instantaneous, even on *significantly* slower machines, the Windows 10 search is useless.
 
I think you have to disable cortana, then tell it to only search local.
Yes, it is lame to do that.
