Windows 10 Screen After Boot

use group policy. administrative templates > control panel > personalization > do not display the lock screen

Under settings on your personalization page on the lock screen page make sure that the background setting is set to picture then change the picture using the giant browse button and assign whatever picture you like for the initial screen. I have my picture set to the MCRN Donnager and have no problem with setting it to show.

Use regedit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Policies/Microsoft/Windows/Personalization

NoLockScreen set to 1
DWORD
NoLockScreen=1

If Personalization key is not exists,, create it

I don't understand why one would find the need to go into Group Policy or the registry for this. It's right there on the Personalization Page under Lock Screen. Can't get much cleared than that.

I think it must be a bug in the insider program because nothing works. I'm going to perform a clean install once AU hits. Hopefully that will clear it up.

Just read that link in Post #09 ... seems like that Lock Screen might not be disableable in Windows 10 when the new version comes out, except in Enterprise and Server editions.
Perhaps with an alternate screen saver, (like webshots) you might be able to not show it. I do not need my computer logging itself off or showing a lock screen.
