I got my Lumia 640 LTE set up, restoring the backup from my Lumia 520, which is running Windows Mobile 8.1.
I installed Upgrade Adviser on the 640 and when I run it I get this after checking for availability of Windows 10 on the phone:
"Good news: Your phone is eligible for upgrade to Windows 10. We are working with your mobile operator and phone manufacturer to make the upgrade available for your phone and you'll see a notification when it's ready."
This has been going on for several days. I unlocked the phone a couple weeks ago, the installed SIM is AT&T using MVNO Airvoice Wireless.
So, what's the holdup here?
I saw a review in Windows Store, I think for the Upgrade Adviser app the other day and it was posted only about a week ago. The woman said that Upgrade Adviser said her Windows 10 Upgrade would happen imminently but it's just not happening for her for some reason.
Do I need to install Windows Insider and get a beta release if I want to run Windows 10? Is it even worth upgrading?
