Freebie to obtain it, after the year you will have to go to a subscription or yearly fee for new features/updates, not including security updates I would imagine though.

Hmm, what if you need to do a re-install? I know I've re-installed Windows 7 several times since I've owned it. :hmm:
But windows has a refresh feature now, so it should be able to reset to factory default without a reinstall.
All windows or just on Windows 10
7 was the last OS to not have this feature.
I wonder why MS didn't also include Vista with the fresh install mandated option? Seems like they'd be able to get as many people onto Windows 10 as possible...
