Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro Upgrade Question

If I have the retail version of Windows 10 Home installed on my PC and I wanted to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro using the Upgrade Pack would the Upgrade Pack be transferable to another PC in case I wanted to replace my motherboard/CPU in the future? Is it better if I just try to resell my retail Home edition and buy the full retail Pro edition?
