Windows 10 free upgrade and hardware replacing

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 through the free upgrade promotion. I right now have a GTX 780 ti video card and might upgrade to a GTX 980 ti. Will my Windows 10 installation become void if I replace my video card with a different one? I understand that the free Windows 10 upgrade from MS is tied to the system the Windows 10 free upgrade was performed on based on what I read.
