Windows 10 file explorer running super slow

Has anyone noticed that their file explorer takes forever to open? It does this on both of my PCs which have SSDs. The one with the 850 EVO is a little faster but it's still very slow.

Mine opens instantly and I'm using a samsung 850 pro 256. Did you upgrade in place or is it a clean install?

I clean installed 8.1 then did the upgrade to 10. Now that 10 is activated should I just wipe and clean install 10 from the get go?

The File Explorer button opens a Quick Access page, which opens what it has determined Frequent Folders and Recent Files. If any of those files in that list are remote, have moved, or are otherwise not available, Windows may be spending extra time trying to find what it thinks should be there.
