Have a biostar H61MGC motherboard. Upgraded from Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro without issue, but when I go to install Windows Updates (specifically the Intel HD graphics driver), the screen goes black, and compute becomes frozen, caps lock key light doesnt turn on/off and no drive activity. All I can do is hard reset. I've tried downloading the drivers manually from intel, and I get the same problem. Any hints?

Try check Windows Update. It sounds like the old Windows 8 issue with trying to do double installs.

Also what exact driver are you installing?

Run the tool from MS to hide the GPU updates from MS. For the drivers direct from Intel, you may have to remove your existing drivers beforehand and reboot.
