Windows 10, Core 2 Duo Macbook, and USB controllers...

So I've got a core 2 duo macbook with windows 10 installed, and have managed to get everything working nicely (can boot to windows or OSX, everything working in windows with bootcamp drivers).

However, the only thing I can't get to work is the USB ports. Everytime I plug in something the Enhanced USB to PCI controller driver gives me a code 43. I've force installed older versions of bootcamp and newer to no avail. The USB worked without incident on windows 8.1 with all other variables the same.

Anyone have any ideas?
